ABOUT CAROLINA

Carolina grew up in Montevideo, Uruguay and has resided in Arizona since 2006. Carolina received her BFA in Painting from Northern Arizona University.

Carolina has taught Art to a variety of populations and was awarded Teacher of the Year at Valencia Middle School in 2017. In the Spring of 2024, she was selected as an Educational Artist in Residence grant recipient by the City of Phoenix Office of Arts and Culture. Carolina collaborates with De Colores to develop Art Healing experiences for the women’s shelter and community base program. In 2025, she curated and helped install two art exhibitions of the participants’ work.

Her work has been featured in many galleries and exhibits, including Xico, Phoenix Center for the Arts, Herberger Galleries, Helios Education Foundation, Fifth Avenue Foundry, Richau & Co, Rocket Space Gallery, Central Arts Market Gallery and the Skyline Lofts Art Gallery.
